With your authorization, Share Transfer Overdraft Protection allows us to transfer money from your share (savings) account to cover any overdrafts. We will make up to six (6) transfers a month. (Due to federal regulations, no more than six transfers can be made per calendar month.)

Transfers will be made in $100 increments. For example, when a check exceeds the available checking account balance by $285, we will transfer $300 from your savings account to cover the check. Service Credit Union provides all of this protection for a nominal charge. Considering the cost and convenience associated with bounced checks, Share Transfer Overdraft Protection is an obvious bargain.
