Money Market Accounts from Service Credit Union pay dividends employing the average daily balance method. Our investment dividend tier is set monthly by the Board of Directors, and a minimum $5,000 daily balance is required for dividend eligibility. Dividends are not paid on accounts that are closed during that dividend period.

Money Transfers: You may make no more than six (6) transfers or withdrawals, or a combination of such transfers or withdrawals from your money market account per calendar month to another account, or to a third party by means of a pre-authorized or automatic transfer, or telephonic (including data transmission) agreement, order or instruction, and no more than three of the six such transfers may be made by check, debit card or similar order by you and payable to third parties.

Check Writing: You can even write checks out of your Money Market Savings Account. When you open your account you'll receive 50 complimentary duplicate checks which provide you with instant, carbonless check copies, right in your checkbook. Write three checks out of your Money Market Savings Account each month. If you should ever need a duplicate of a check, just call a branch office. Service Credit Union hold all checks to safeguard against fire or loss. Copies are available upon request.
