Loan Rate Discounts

Allotment Payroll Deduction
0.10% reduction from the base interest rate for an allotment/payroll deduction sent to Service Credit Union and selection of the automatic loan payment feature.

Direct Deposit
0.25% reduction from the base interest rate for direct deposit sent to Service Credit Union and selection of the automatic loan payment feature.

Military Direct Deposit
0.35% reduction from the base interest rate for a military direct deposit sent to Service Credit Union and the selection of the automatic loan payment feature.

Star Loan
A "STAR Loan" interest rate reduction of 50 basis points may be granted to qualified applicants whose military base pay does not exceed $2,290 per month OR civilian applicants who do not exceed $39,000 per annum salary. Both of these discounts require direct deposit of net pay (NOT ALLOTMENT) and selection of the automatic loan payment feature.Click here to learn more about the STAR Program 

Warrior Rewards
A "Warrior Rewards" interest rate reduction of 100 basis points may be granted to qualified military members who are assigned to or who have returned in the past 120 days from peacekeeping operations such as Bosnia, Kosovo, or other hostile environments, or combat/war zone areas such as Iraq and Afghanistan where our troops or civilians are in imminent danger of enemy attack (PCS does not qualify). For service members decorated with the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, or a higher combat-related award and military members with 20 or more years of service at retirement, Warrior Rewards benefits are extended indefinitely. This discount requires direct deposit of net pay (NOT ALLOTMENT) and selection of the automatic loan payment feature.

NOTE: The "STAR Loan"  and the "Warrior Rewards" rate reduction is in lieu of the standard 25 or 35 basis points offered to all civilian and military members respectively and the two shall not be combined.
