Service Credit Union and its mobile banking provider, MShift, would like to advise members about an increasing phishing scam aimed at obtaining sensitive member information through fraudulent text messages sent to the members' mobile phone. These SMS messages may appear legitimate but are actually attacks from a fraudulent source. The goal of these scammers is to convince the member to share confidential financial or personal information.

Service Credit Union would never ask for unsolicited personal or financial information via text message or through any communication. Also members should always access their mobile banking site through a direct link of mobile.servicecu.org not through links provided in an email. If you receive any message asking for sensitive information, please contact us at security@servicecu.org immediately.
