2.)   Switch Over Your Automatic Transactions:
Fill out the change automatic payment or withdrawls form for any companies that are currently making automatic withdrawals from your account.

3.)   Close Down Your Old Account:
When you are sure that your old account is inactive, send your old financial institution the following Close Account Form. Once you receive the remaining balance on your old account, you can then destroy all of your old checks, ATM/Debit cards, and deposit slips.
